Job Title: Project Executive

A leading construction organization is seeking a Project Executive to provide leadership on data center projects. This remote, full-time position is based in Vernon, TX and requires travel. The Project Executive will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including contract negotiations, client relations, budget and schedule management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and plays a key role in driving project success from acquisition through closeout.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership for multiple large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring project goals, budgets, and schedules are met

• Lead contract negotiations, working closely with clients and internal teams to secure favorable terms for the company

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining ongoing communication and building strong client relationships to foster repeat business

• Oversee project performance and ensure compliance with all corporate safety and quality standards

• Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring alignment with company Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Passion, and Commitment

• Participate in the RFP process and leverage industry contacts to generate project leads

• Collaborate with the Pre-Construction team to develop budgets and project schedules

• Assemble and recruit high-performing project teams, providing mentorship and performance evaluations

• Lead turnover meetings between Pre-Construction and Project Teams to ensure seamless project start-up

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, safety, and quality outcomes

• Oversee accounts receivable, financial forecasting, and project P&L to ensure profitability

• Support project staff in developing baseline schedules and implementing Lean/Last Planner processes

• Champion a culture of safety, driving continuous improvement in safety program performance

• Attend owner and project meetings, representing the company and maintaining strong, productive client relationships

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering

• Minimum of 15+ years of general contractor experience, with multiple medium to large data center projects ($100M+) successfully completed

• Deep understanding of contract terms and legal provisions affecting project profitability

• Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and exceed project goals while upholding company values

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with sound judgment and the ability to escalate issues appropriately

• Exceptional prioritization, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities with keen attention to detail

• Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the organization with owners and clients

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior management and clients professionally

• Self-motivated, confident, and capable of independently driving projects forward

• Proven ability to develop client relationships and secure future opportunities

• Experience recruiting, building, and managing high-performing project teams
