What You’ll Do:
- Operate Bobtail trucks and tank wagons efficiently.
- Carry out route driving efficiently and accurately, with an emphasis on safety norms.
- Load and unload cargo securely.
- Conduct proactive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle readiness.
- Maintain precise delivery records and logs.
- Liaise with dispatchers, ensuring communication relating to delivery status and scheduling.
- Follow safety regulations, company policies and transportation laws strictly.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in fuel delivery.
- CDL with X and Tank endorsements with at least 3 years of driving experience; 2 years' fuel experience.
- Familiarity with operating fuel trucks including wet hosing; a minimum of 1 year wet hose experience is preferred.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices ensuring vehicle longevity.
