Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Architecture

A prominent manufacturer specializing in precast concrete and prefabricated building systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their architecture and design-build group. This organization is committed to delivering innovative building solutions and is known for its design-build delivery model within the greater Sacramento region of Northern California.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead the execution of the largest and most complex architectural design-build pursuits and projects involving precast and prefabricated building systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met throughout the project life cycle.
Mentoring and guiding project managers within the team, sharing best practices and fostering professional development.
Setting the design and delivery strategy for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and margin expectations, maintaining accountability for financial performance and on-time delivery.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and construction personnel, to drive project success.
Utilizing tools such as Revit and BIM/VDC to enhance project design and execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to address potential challenges proactively.
Reporting project status and key performance indicators to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing commercial building projects, with a strong focus on design-build methodologies.
Prior experience in precast concrete or building-enclosure systems is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in Revit and BIM/VDC technologies.
Preferred certifications include Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain client relationships.
