Job Title: Audit Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
Maintain regular communication with clients to address audit issues, present findings, and manage expectations.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and the organization’s quality control procedures.
Review and approve workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend practical solutions to clients.
Assist in the management of engagement budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
Stay current on industry trends, accounting pronouncements, and auditing standards.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and networking events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA license required.
Significant experience in public accounting with a focus on audit, including prior supervisory responsibilities.
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
