Job Title: Senior Project Executive

A leading construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Executive to oversee data center projects based in Vernon, TX, with travel required. This remote, full-time role is ideal for a seasoned construction leader who will drive project performance, foster client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership for large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded.
Lead contract negotiations, manage client relations, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and trade partner management to deliver successful outcomes.
Ensure compliance with corporate safety and quality standards at all times.
Use industry contacts to generate leads and support project acquisition efforts.
Participate in the RFP process and contract negotiations as needed.
Collaborate with the Pre-Construction team to develop project budgets and schedules.
Assemble and recruit project teams, ensuring the right talent is in place for each phase.
Lead turnover meetings between Pre-Construction and Project teams for seamless project start-up.
Maintain a thorough understanding of contract terms, ensuring the project team’s compliance and maximizing project profitability.
Conduct regular visits to project sites to monitor performance and address issues proactively.
Monitor and evaluate performance of project teams, providing leadership and motivation to achieve and surpass project goals.
Oversee accounts receivable, financial forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) for assigned projects.
Support the project staff with baseline schedule development and Lean/Last Planner processes.
Champion and enforce the organization’s safety programs and performance standards.
Attend owner and project meetings, maintaining continuous and effective client communication to build lasting relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
Minimum of 15+ years of experience working with general contractors, with a strong emphasis on data center projects valued at $100M or more.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple medium to large data center projects.
